Meathead Goldwyn’s Memphis Dust Dry Rub recipe from Amazing Ribs. Very easy to throw together dry rub for ribs or other bbq. Works real well with oven-made ribs also. It’s also pretty flexible for substitutions or additions too using it as a base!
Kenji Lopez-Alt’s Really Awesome Black Bean Burger Recipe from Serious Eats. Very good veggie burger packed with tex-mex flavour. The prep steps can take awhile but the payoff is good!
Matty Matheson’s Sesame Seed Rolls from Homestyle Cookery, page 21. Great sandwich roll for making Italian style deli sandwiches. Would probably make really good French Toast medallions. Super easy to make bread project. Better than basically any easy to find store bought roll.
Ali Slagle’s Broccoli and Farro Stew from NYT Cooking. Vegetarian/vegan stew that is surprisingly hearty. Nice garlicky punch too. Adding roasted mushrooms works super well in terms of variation.
Very solid Banana Bread recipe from Epicurious that works well with chocolate chips, blueberries, nuts, and other mix-ins. We usually omit the Walnuts.
